After you apply for a passport online, you will get 90 days to visit a Passport Seva Kendra which you will have to resubmit your online applicant. Steps to Apply for a Passport Online in India-

• Switch to Passport Seva Portal, and tap on the ‘Register Now’ Link. 

• Mention all the details accurately, and choose the passport office you would like to visit. 

• Now type the correct CAPTCHA characters, and then tap on the ‘Register’ button.

• Login to the Passport Seva Portal with your registered login ID.

• Tap the apply for fresh Passport Re-issue of Passport Link. 

• Fill in the required details on the screen, and tap ‘Submit’. 

• Tap on the Pay, and Schedule Appointment Link on the View SavedSubmitted Applications screen. This will also require you to pay a fee online for your appointment. 

• Tap on the ‘Print Application Receipt’ Link to print your receipt. 

• You will get an SMS message with the details of the appointment. 

• At last, visit the ‘Passport Seva Kendra or Regional Passport Office. Remember to carry original documents.
