How to Block a Number on Android: A Guide for Xiaomi, Realme, Samsung, Google, Oppo, and LG Users

Steps to Block a Number on Android are as follows- 

• Go to your Phone app on your smartphone. 

• Click on More button, and then click on the ‘Call history Option’. 

• Now, choose a call from the number that you want to block. Users can also select an unknown number or select a saved contact. 

• Click on Blockreport junk option.

• The pop-up message will be shown on your screen. Just click on that message. 

Additionally, users can block a number on your Googlestock Android phone by clicking on a contact from the Recent List on your Phone app. Google also provides you with the option to block all unknown numbers on your Android device. Just move to Settings>Blocked numbers, and then switch on the Unknown option. 

Steps to Unblock number on a Google, Android Go, or Stock Android phone

• Move to your Phone app on your phone.

• Click on the More option.

• Move back to Settings>Blocked numbers.

• Now click on the “X” icon next to the number you want to unlock & then choose the Unblock option.

Steps to block a number on an LG phone

• Move to your Phone app on your phone.

• On pop-up messages, choose either Contacts or Call Logs. The message also includes the option known as New number that allows you to add a new number to your blocked numbers list.

• Move to the Phone app on your phone.

• Click on More button, and then tap on the Call Settings option.

• Click on Call blocking & Decline with a message.

• Choose the blocked numbers option.

• Now click on the numbercontact to unblock, and then tap on the bin (delete) icon. 

• At last tap on the Remove option under the pop-up message.
