Vodafone Idea is India's third largest operator. It offers cellular network services in 2G, 3G, and 4G VoLTE. The network allows you to port your mobile number from your existing network to Vi using the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) facility. 

Make sure that you have cleared all the remaining dues before porting your postpaid number. 

STEPS TO PORT YOUR EXISTING MOBILE NUMBER TO Vi

• Firstly, Visit the Vi MNP Webpage. 

• Now enter the mobile number, and PIN code. 

• Switch down a little to select from the available prepaid, and postpaid plans. 

• Select a plan, hit the order button. 

• Now the details are opened on screen where you have to enter your address where you want to get your new SIM delivered. 

• Tap on the proceed to checkout button. 

• Now you will get all the necessary details. Now you’ll be asked to make a payment for your prepaid pack.

• Enter the details, and tap on the pay button for payment. 

Now you’ll get the confirmation, and the VI executive will deliver the SIM card at your mentioned place, and ask you to generate a Unique Porting Code (UPC) by sending an SMS message with the text “Port” followed by your mobile number to 1900 from your mobile. You have to show your identity proof to complete the porting process. Now, for activating it will take aproc 48 hours for the new SIM.
