The documents issued by government agencies are stored as URLs. The uploaded documents are the ones that an individual uploads to a DigiLocker account. 

Steps to Upload Documents to DigiiLocker are as follows-

• Switch to the DigiLocker website. 

• Start signing up on the website.

• Enter your Name, DOB, Gender, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Aadhaar Number. Now you will be asked for a 6-digit PIN that will act as your password. Tap on ‘Submit’. 

• Now the OTP will be sent to your mobile phone number. 

• Enter the OTP, and tap on ‘Submit’. 

• Mention the username, and click on ‘done. This will ensure to create your account on Digilocker. 

• Tap on the ‘Uploaded Documents’ option on-page. 

• Tap on ‘Upload’. 

• Choose the file you want to select, and tap on ‘Open’. 

• Now the file will be available in the Uploaded Documents section.
