            How to Use Google Docs Offline: Two Ways to Create, Edit Documents Without Internet

Google Docs is available for smartphones, and computers. To work offline on your computer, you need Google Chrome, and a Chrome extension installed. 

STEPS TO USE OFFLINE ON COMPUTERS ARE AS FOLLOWS-

• Install Google Chrome on your computer. 

• Then download the extension Google Docs Offline from the Chrome Webstore. 

• Once you are done, then open the Google Docs in a new tab. 

• Click on hamburger icon>Move to Settings>Enable Offline. 

• When the Internet is turned off then move to your Google Docs on Chrome to access your documents offline. 

• For offline copy for a particular document, just hit on the three-dots icon to the file, and enable available offline. 

STEPS TO USE OFFLINE ON SMARTPHONE

• Install Google Docs, and open the app>Tap on the hamburger icon>Switch to Settings.

• Enable Make recent files available offline. 

• To keep an offline copy, just hit on the three dots to the file, and enable available offline. 

The circle with a check mark signifies that your file is now available offline. These two ways help you to edit, and save files offline.
