                Instagram Reels: How to Download Reels Video and Save on Your Phone

Steps to Save Instagram Reels within the app-

• Move to your Instagram>Click on Search>Open the Reels video that you’d like to download.

• Additionally, visit a user’s profile>Click on the new Reels tab, near the IGTV tab>choose the reels video that you want to download, and open it. 

• When the video is loaded, tap on the three-dots icon>Click on Save.

• Go back to Instagram’s home screen>Click on your profile icon>click on the hamburger icon>Move to Settings>Go to your Account>Tap for Save. 

• Now recently saved videos will appear in your ‘All posts’ folder. 

Steps to download on Android-

• Go to Google Play, and Install Video Downloader for Instagram-repost instagram.

• Once Installed, open, and set it up.

• Go Back to Instagram, and choose the Reels video that you want to install, and open it. 

• Click on the three-dots icon, and click on the Copy Link. 

• Open the recently downloaded video downloader for Instagram app, and the URL to paste there.

• Switch to your phone's gallery, and you will find the Reels video. You can edit, or share it with others via third-party apps. 

Steps to download on iPhone-

• Switch to the App Store, and Install InSaver for Instagram.

• Once done, open, and sign it up.

• Move back to Instagram, and choose the reels video to download, and open it. 

• Tap on the three-dots icon, and click on Copy Link.

• Open the InSaver for Instagram app, and the link that is copied will be pasted there.

• Click on Watch It>Click on Options>Tap on Share>Save Video to save the short video to the Photos app.

Steps to download via Screen Recording-

• Make sure that the Screen Recording is added to the Control Center. Move to Settings>Control Center>Customize Controls. Now add Screen Recording. 

• Open the Reels Video that you want to download on Instagram.

• Swipe upward to reveal the Control Center. Click on the Start Recording to start recording the video. Move to Instagram, and play the video. Once done, stop the screen recording by clicking on the red bar>Stop. Video will be saved to the Photos app.

• Use built-in screen recorder, or a third-party app for screen recording on your Android phone. 

• Users whose phone doesn’t support Screen Recorder, Go to Google Play, and Download Mobizen Screen Recorder. Once Download, open the app, and set it up.

• Move back to Instagram>Play the Video to download>Click on the floating screen recorder icon, and click on the camera button to start the screen recording. 

• Once finished, click on the stop button to stop the recording. The screen recorded video will be saved to your phone’s gallery.
