Steps to check the supported languages in the Translate app

• Go to the Translate app, and click either of the two rectangular boxes up top to open the list of languages. Move down to check the list.

•  Almost 12 supported languages are there like Arabic, Chinese, English (US), English (UK), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.  

• Switch down to see the offline languages. 

• Click on the small downloaded icon right next to a particular language to download a language offline. 

• Checkmark signifies the use of offline. 

• At last switch down to the end of the list,there is an Automatic Detection option. Enabling it will make the translation app automatically detect the spoken language. 

Steps to translate text, and speech-

• Move to the app, and choose two languages by clicking the boxes at the top.

• Click on the enter text field>choose from one of the languages>start typing.

• Once done, tap on Go to display the translated text on the screen. 

• After that click on go to display the translated text on the screen.

Steps to translate conversions, and speak it out for you right after you’re done talking- 

• Go to the Control Center, and disabled the ‘Portrait Orientation Lock.

• Move to Translate app>Choose any two languages by clicking on the boxes>rotate your phone in Landscape. 

• The Translate app’s conversation mode will be shown on your screen. Tap on the microphone, and start speaking in either of the two selected languages. 

• Once completed you’ll hear the translation, click on the play icon to listen to the translation again.
