Ambani announced that Jio Fiber will offer fixed line phone service that is known as Jio FixedVoice. For that users will only have to pay for a single service-data-and they will get the landline service. Moreover, the voice calls will be free inside India, Jio Fiber users will have to purchase their own Landline equipment. 

STEPS TO ACTIVATE JIO HOME PHONE LANDLINE SERVICE

• Move to the MyJio app on your smartphone, and choose the Jio GigaFiber account. 

• Click on the recharge option, and the pop-up option that appears on screen will guide you through all the terms and conditions about the activation process.

• Now Jio will send an OTP to your registered mobile number.

• Once you finish, the Jio Home Phone Landline service will be activated for your Jio Fiber connection.

Reliance Jio also offers an allotted number for the landline service. The process on the MyJio app, connects your landline device using RJ11 phone cable to the available port on the back of the user's Jio Fiber router.

• There’s no need to activate the Jio FixedVoice aka Jio Home Phone Landline service because the new jio fiber has already been activated in their account. They will get a landline number during the activation process.
