Xiaomi is known as the one of the largest smartphone brands in India, and is known for its budget smartphones. MIUI 12 comes with some notable features, and has the option of one-tap to disable system-wide ads. If you want to give your MIUI 12 a deep cleanse, then follow the below steps. 

Steps to remove ads, and spam Notifications from any Xiaomi Smartphone

• Disabling the MSA Process

• There are few things to cut off that lead to System Ads To disable it:

• Go to Settings App.

• Switch to Passwords & Security> Authorisation & Revocation. 

• Now disable the MSA.

• Switch down, and disable GetApps as well. 

• Now you’ll get a 10-second warning message that you want to continue or not. 

• After the countdown, click to revoke. First toggle it off. 

• Msa will still disable, even if you reboot your phone. 

• More Changes to Stop Seeing Ads in MIUI 12

• Some more changes you can do to stop seeing ads in MIUI 12

• Switch to Privacy. 

• Then click on Ad services, and disable Personalized add recommendations that help you to drop data collection to give you relevant ads.

• Switch off ads from Downloads app

• Go to the Downloads app.

• Click on hamburger menu>Settings.

• Switch off the toggle to show recommended content. Just click on Okay for all terms & conditions.

• Turn off ads from File Manager app

• Go to the File Manager app.

• Click on the hamburger menu.

• Switch to About>Disable Recommendations.

• Turn off ads from the Music app

• Go to the Music app.

• Switch to Hamburger menu>Service & Settings.

• Click on Advanced Settings>Receive recommendations. 

• Now disable other recommendations like Online for startup, and Song. This will disable all the data collection from this app. 

• Turn off ads from Security app

• Go to the Security app.

• Click on the Settings button>Receive recommendations.

• Turn off Ads from Themes app

• Go to the Themes app.

• Move to My page>Settings.

• Switch off the toggle for recommendations.

• Turn Off Promoted Apps

• Go to Tools, and More Apps folder>Long-press on the name of the folder, and rename it. 

• Switch off the toggle for Promoted apps.
