If you really want to clean, customize your feed then just follow some ways that can easily clean up your Twitter feed. There are various options to mute an account, a tweet, feed, words, or hashtags. 

Steps to mute a tweet or an account on Twitter 

• Switch to a tweet and tap the three-dot menu icon. 

• Select from these two options “Mute the conversation” or “Mute the account”. 

• Select any one option the mute the tweet. 

Steps to mute a word hashtag on Twitter

• Switch to the Twitter app, click on your Profile Icon. Select More from the options on your desktop. 

• Go to “Settings”, and “Safety”. 

• Go to “Privacy” and “Safety”. 

• Select “Mute” and “Block”. There you will see all the options related to Muted accounts and Muted words. 

• Choose “Muted words”. 

• Select the “+” icon to add words that you want to mute. 

• Select Save. 

Steps to customize the content you see on Twitter

• From the browser select more from the Left panel on your Twitter home screen. 

• Choose Settings and Privacy. 

• Choose Privacy and Safety. 

• Select the “Content” you see. 

• From ‘Topics’, and ‘Interest’. Select ‘Topics’. 

• Select as per your choice, Twitter will allow you to see content related to these topics on your feed. 

• Select “Interest”.

• Twitter is based on your profile, activity, and the topics you follow. You can also unselect any feed that you don’t want to see. 

Steps to block a tweet or an account on Twitter

• Navigate to a tweet and click on the “three-dot menu” icon. 

• Select the Block @accountname option that enables to block of the account.
