What is System Data? 

System data is the Operating System. It consists of essential system files that your phone could not function without it and temporary files like backups, coached items, and logs. Without it, the phone is an expensive paperweight. 

“System” consists of different varieties of sizes sometimes it’s 7GB or so, but it can also easily be 10GB, or also 25GB.

DATA SYSTEM- Data system is a term used to refer to an organized collection of symbols and processes that may be used to operate on such symbols. Hence, human-speech analyzed at the level of phonemes can be considered a data system as can the Incan artifact of the khipu and an image stored as pixels. 

You can see how much space the system is taking up on your phone by going to settings>General>phone storage. 

To clean up Android apps on an individual basis and free up memory:

 1- Open your Android phone’s settings app. 

2- Go to the apps (or apps and notifications) settings. 

3- Make sure all apps are selected.

4- Tap on the app you wish to clean.

5- Select clear cache and clear data to remove the temporary data. 

Data is defined as programs or text and defined into two main headings- 

System Data- System data is built by operating systems and extensions. The data is always to be kept in the system file systems, namely, user, tmp, var, and etc. 

User Data- User Data is local data that complete specific tasks. The data is kept in the home file system that is specifically created. 

What happens if you clear data on an app?

1- When you clear data or storage of an app, it deletes the data associated with that app, and when that happens, your app will behave like a freshly installed one. When you open the app after clearing its data, you will see the latest version that was previously installed on your phone. 

Steps to clear the cache on an iPhone and iPad- 

1- Open Settings and scroll down to the 5th group of options(starting with passwords & accounts) Tap Safari. 

2- Scroll down and tap ‘clear history and website data’. 

3- In the popup, tap ‘clear history and website data’. 

4- In the popup, tap ‘ clear history and data’ to confirm. 

How do you delete system data?

1- System data cannot be deleted. However, you can go to settings>apps and look for your downloaded apps, then see if you find a system app in the list (like google play services), then hit uninstall updates.
