What Should I Delete when my Phone Storage is Full

In the app’s application info menu, tap storage and then tap clear cache to clear the app’s cache. To clear cached data from all apps, go to settings>storage, and tap cached data to clear the caches of all the apps on your phone. 

When the app cache is cleared, all of the mentioned data is cleared. Then, the application stores more vital information as data. More drastically, when you clear the data, both cache and data are removed. 

You can easily clean it as often as needed or when your device is running low on space. Basically, caches are important to speeds up the devices so that to save the battery. So it’s not necessary to delete caches because android removes too old caches automatically. 

These are some points for deleting the unnecessary items from your device are as follows- 

1- Easily Free up Space in Your Phone

1- The best option is to start by deleting downloads, unnecessary apps, and photos, videos. (For this go to setting>storage and tapping on “free up space”).
2- As we all know that photos and videos are backed up to google drive, deleting them doesn’t affect your ability to view them on your phone for this you just required an internet connection. 
3- There is also a “free up space”, where you will able to see the apps which haven’t been used in at least 90 days ( Just go to settings>application>application manager) 

2- Remove App Data & Cache files

1- There are some apps that create cache files-bits of data created as you use an app in order to make the app run faster. These files can build up to quite a size- but, they can safely be deleted.(Go to settings>storage>other apps to see a list of your downloaded apps). 

3- Check Applications Containing a lot of Space-

The storage manager also shows how much space various categories of apps take up compared with others. You can easily delete them if they are not in use. To delete an app, tap to open, then hit uninstall. 

4- Clear the Cache-
1- In our android phone, there are many popular apps that gathered hundreds of wasteful items, such as Instagram maximum contain 38 MB of temporary cache files, 151 items, and Facebook maximum contain 79 MB of temporary files, 561 items. 

2- For cleaning up go to settings>then apps settings>Select all the apps>Tap on the app you wish to clean>select clear cache and clear data.

5- Clear Downloads Folder-

1- There are many photos and documents in your device’s downloads folder. This folder contains a lot of storage space that is not in use. 

2- For cleaning up open apps folder>select my files>Tap downloads>Tap & hold the downloaded files>Wipe them off your phone using the delete button.
